FAQ

Q:  DO THE DOCTORS  PERFORM SURGERY?

A:  Yes, all of our doctors are board certified/eligible in foot and ankle surgery.  We attempt to heal our patients through conservative care treatment modalities and avoid surgery, if at all possible.  However, certain conditions require surgery immediately and others after conservative care has failed. Our doctors are highly trained to determine the best course of action and proceed with that plan comprehensively.

Q:  DO THE DOCTORS PERFORM WOUND CARE?

A:  Yes.  All of our  doctors have worked at wound care centers, with Dr. Kaczander currently at William Beaumont Hospital and Drs. Galea and Faley at St. Mary Mercy Hospital.  We specialize in treating diabetic foot wounds as well as venous insufficieny wounds on the legs (from excessive swelling).

Q:  ARE THE DOCTORS ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS?

A:  Yes, all of our doctors accept new patients.

Q:  WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

A:  For new patients,  15 minutes prior to your appointment time is recommended.  You can expedite the process by downloading and printing our new patient forms and having them filled out completely before you get to our office.  Bring a list of your medications, if available.  Established patients should arrive up to 5 minutes prior to their appointment time.

Q:  AT WHICH HOSPITALS ARE THE DOCTORS ON STAFF?

A:  All of our doctors are on the medical staff of William Beaumont and St. Mary Mercy Hospitals.
